Trollspert

In Internet slang, a trollspert is a person who promotes crypto-currency information on social media by stating and predicting the rise or fall of a crypto coins price. They try pass themselves off as an “expert” and have expert  knowledge of a particular crypto-coin.

This sense of both the noun and the verb “trollspert” and “trollsperting” is associated with “social media” discourse of the “crypto community”. The motive of ”trollsperting” is to get new buyers of crypto to purchase a coin that the Trollspert has a large position in, at a very low price causing the price to rise. Also referred to pump and dump.
